Proper sawing operation requires between 14 to 16 gallons per minute of hydraulic oil with a maximum of 2000 psi pressure from a 3 position 4 way spring centered hydraulic valve that blocks the cylinder ports in the neutral position. The valve can have either manual or electric control. The hydraulic circuit can be tandem center, closed center or load sensing.
